Panos Xenokostas, President & CEO of ONEX Group meets in Syros, Greece H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos
Mr Panos Xenokostas, President & CEO of ONEX Group, met with his excellency Prokopis Pavlopoulos President of the Hellenic Republic on Monday July 9th at the Apollon Theater in Ermoupolis Syros, for the presentation of the President’s book entitled “At the cradle of the European Civilization. Symbolisms of the Thinker Athena”.
During the meeting which was conducted in a friendly environment, Mr. Xenokostas discussed with the President the rehabilitation of Neorion Syros. Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos expressed his deep felt emotions for the reopening of Neorion and extended his warm wishes for the future, especially for the rebirth of the historic shipyard, by ONEX SYROS SHIPYARDS, that will upgrade and expand the shipyard’s activities which is an important industrial unit not only for the economic growth of the island and the enhancement of the local community of Syros, but for the benefit of the Greek economy in general.
