The event for cutting the New Year’s cake of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Piraeus (ECCI) was held with great success on Monday, January 20, in the presence of representatives of the government, the opposition parties, the local government and representatives of professional and scientific organizations of Piraeus. This year’s event was of particular importance, as it coincided with the celebration of important anniversaries: the 120th anniversary of the ECCI, the 190th anniversary of the Municipality of Piraeus, the 130th anniversary of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus and the 100th anniversary of Olympiacos.

Upon receiving the honorary distinction, Mr. Xenokostas expressed his thanks with the characteristic phrase: “Long live Olympiacos! Long live Piraeus!”
